Make Up Love: EYES
A blog i follow that features a beautiful girl and her daily life, as well as her fantastic eyelashes recently posted about what kind of mascara she uses because as you can see if you visit her blog HERE her eyelashes are AMAZING
so naturally i went out and bought said mascara to try immediately.
and also bought a new eyeliner that was conveniently placed right near that mascara on a special add on a rack probably specifically placed there for people like me. anything that says "24 hour wear" i tend to want, though usually im just disappointed by it not actually working for 24 hours, moving on here is the mascara:

Covergirl Lash Blast Volume
2 things- 1, i would usually never buy a mascara with a wand like that cause i typically don't like them, and 2, my pregnant brain accidentally bought "brown" instead of black. i really should pay better attention.
regardless this mascara was all that i hoped for! i just added a bit of my old [Covergirl Super Thick Lash]black over it. And i paired it with:

Covergirl Line Blast 24HR in Enduring Black
L-O-V-E this stuff, seriously it stays on 24HR [i tested it] and actually even though i did not get waterproof, because i hate water proof liner or mascara, it stayed on and then some...i really actually had to work to wash this stuff off.
so i went from this:

to this:

and no i dont use fake lashes, my actually lashes tend to be longer and then they just annoy me. so yes, this is all the work of that lovely new found mascara combined with the ridiculously long lasting eyeliner i was coerced into buying by cheap marketing placement tricks.
happy camper!

Furbaby: my little man
i have be worried lately about what Gunner, my 95 pound yellow lab and "baby" for the last 6 years will do when baby finally arrives.
i don't think he would harm the baby, i'm more worried about him feeling left out, or forgotten.
the closest thing to a child i have had to this point is him. yes, i know not the same but for fellow dog lovers out there you can understand.
i cant imagine that i will neglect him, but nonetheless, its on my brain.
so in all my anxiety about this i decided to vent it out and show some post love to my current baby with a little photo roll below. Enjoy, he is one handsome boy!

i have never understood "napping"
until now, i didn't get it.
a "nap" to me has always been 20 minutes of closed eyes, only if absolutely necessary, and i mean if you have not slept for 2 days then i get the 20 minutes of closed eyes to keep yourself going.
but if you lay down, in your bed for 3 or 4 hours, you are not napping- you are going to sleep.
worse than wasting time sleeping when you can be enjoying life is napping whilst on vacation. this to me is just not acceptable. i will enjoy every minute of my time away from the office doing things i love even if I'm running on fumes.
BUT when your pregnant, well then napping for 3 hours is acceptable. actually its kind of unavoidable. you lay back on your couch, and close your eyes its quite possible you will wake up 3 hours later. and in my case feeling like you didn't even sleep.
so i have embraced napping, for the mean time that is. you still wont catch me napping on vacation that's for sure. but i will tell you, naps are great for the pregnant body. because regular sleep? that can be tricky, especially when you have a 95 pound yellow lab that refuses to sleep anywhere but on, yes on your feet.
in other news, my weekend passed by in less than a flash or a blink of an eye. my step dad and mom came over Saturday to fix the hole[step dad fixed while me and mom watched really] where a giant air conditioner has lived in the side of my house for probably many many years. its been plaguing me since i found out i was expecting because it was in what will be the baby's room and it get FREEZING in the winter. and FREEZING when the air is on in that room and basically baby would never be able to stay in there with it like that. so that was most of Saturday followed by creating our registry for the baby shower which was just well kind of overwhelming. and tiring.
Sunday might have well just been skipped since i spent the whole day cleaning out our room and closet. i know I'm so fun.
but i had to do it. i have a tendency to rearrange rooms, especially my bedroom. i just need a change here and there. and this time it was more because of the spotlight that the people across the street have on their driveway that they leave on 24 hours a day that shines not only directly into my room but directly on to my face where i lay to sleep. rather than going over there in a rage in the middle of the night to throw rocks at it i decided to move my bed. and because of many months of neglect my room needed a major overhaul and so that was my day.

forgive me for i have sinned
forgive me blogland for i have sinned, it has been 15 days since my last blog.
i confess, i have been tired, and tired and more tired and lazy and have not blogged as a result.
I keep being told that at some point in this pregnancy i will "explode overnight" and i am very fearful of that as i don't see how anymore weight could fit in my midsection. and my butt hurts. yea, just from sitting on it. work has been very eventful which i believe has been the main contribution to the tired and lazy Mags.
i hope to have something interesting on here with in the next few days.
until then...XXX

The Easiest Pumpkin Cupcake Recipe::: Your Welcome!
A while back I posted here about a pumpkin filled weekend.
Included in that post was a delightful picture of some delicious pumpkin
cupcakes I whipped up for my guests in honor of our pumpkin carving night.
I was told it was the absolute best cupcake they had ever
had. Needless to say there was not much left over.
So thanksgiving is right around the corner and in my usual
fashion I am and will be a dessert queen. This recipe will be making it to the
table.
So, I decided to share the recipe I used to make these scrumptious
little things. Happy thanksgiving, your welcome.
I warn you, it may be the easiest thing you have ever or
will ever do.

Ingredients:
18.5 oz box of yellow cake mix
All ingredients that cake mix calls for [look at the box I would
list but certain cake mixes vary]
½ Teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice
1, 15oz can of Pumpkin Puree
Cinnamon to garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line your cupcake pan[s] with liners [yields about 24
cupcakes]
Mix cake mix as directed BUT also add in the pumpkin pie
spice and substitute the water in the cake mix directions for the pumpkin
puree[the whole can, regardless of how much water it called for]
Fill your waiting cupcake liners with this lovely mixture, Bake
for 18-22 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center
Let cool, and then frost with cream cheese frosting. I
bought ready-made frosting and everyone loved it but, if you’re feeling extra
ambitious you can make your own cream cheese frosting with the following recipe:
Ingredients:
2, 8-ounce bars cream cheese, at room temperature
2, cups confectioners’ sugar
Directions:
using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and sugar
until creamy. Spread on the cupcakes.
Waa-laa
I topped off that frosting with cinnamon for an extra dash
of awesome.
And finally, be prepared to be applauded at your family
gatherings.
Enjoy J

thanks
with thanksgiving right around the corner,
it makes you think about all the things in life you are thankful for.
today, i am especially thankful.
I'm thankful for kind, generous people,
people who really care about my husband and i.
I'm thankful for surprises.
I'm thankful for everything happening for a reason.
so thankful that i was raised to be a strong person,
especially mentally.
I'm thankful that we were blessed with this growing
[and wild kicking] baby in my belly.
I'm thankful for the abundance of family and friends that surround me, and keep me laughing and make life all the sweeter.
I'm thankful of my effortless constant reminders to myself that my life is quite great, and even though times have been tough, that someone somewhere has it tougher.
I'm thankful. so thankful.
for this lovely life i live.
xxLove
